We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Change Management Specialist Lead to join our client's team at a leading financial institution. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in guiding medium-to-large scale projects through their change lifecycle, ensuring seamless adoption and successful outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, leading change initiatives that impact our client's end-users and contribute directly to their business objectives. You'll be part of an 8-10 person team, with ample room for ownership and strategic impact.

This is a 12-month contract which requires the Change Manager to work onsite at our client's office in downtown Toronto 2 days per week.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of change management activities for assigned projects, from planning to execution.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management plans, including communication strategies and training programs.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align change initiatives with business needs and project goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point for change methodology and tools.
  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of all change management deliverables.
  • Analyze potential impacts and risks, providing insightful recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Drive successful adoption of change and maximize benefits realization across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Interpret business challenges and recommend best practices to enhance change management efficacy.
  • Lead change initiatives for high-risk legal projects.
  • Manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

What You'll Bring:

  • An undergraduate degree and relevant Change Management Accreditations.
  • 5+ years of dedicated change management experience within large organizations, ideally in a project-based environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with all levels of an organization, from leadership to front-line teams.
  • Strong understanding of change management industry best practices, project management methodologies, and business transformation.
  • Knowledge of risk management environments, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in software tools, data analysis, and reporting techniques.
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite.
