We are seeking a skilled and reliable Millwright to join our automotive manufacturing team during the night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment and machinery used in our production processes. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of production lines, safety, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, align, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery used in manufacturing processes.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Support machinery upgrades, rebuilds, and installation of new equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Assist in continuous improvement efforts related to machinery and mechanical systems.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Millwright, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing setting.
• Completion of a recognized Millwright apprenticeship or technical training program.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night hours.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with PLCs, automation, or robotics is a plus.
• Familiarity with welding, grinding, and machining.
• Relevant certifications such as Red Seal Millwright certification.
