As we continue to grow, we are seeking an dynamic Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our leadership team and support growth across the organization.
Role Specific Info
- Full-time, minimum 40 hours per week. 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday (with some flexibility)
- A Marketing, Communications or Public Relations undergrad (preferred) or a student/recent graduate within one of these programs
- 0-2 years of experience within the field of Marketing, Communications or Public Relations (university and volunteer experience will be considered)
- Police Clearance including a Vulnerable Sector Search (able to apply for this once hired into the role)

- Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Excellent writing skills with an emphasis on writing for the web and social media
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on time
- Photography and Graphic design skills
- Knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud Software (Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Knowledge and experience with Canva with experience using the platform
- Videography, editing and publishing skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support in the development and execution of marketing campaigns for various programs and events
- Coordinate and execute in email campaigns and ensure uniformity of content/messaging
- Design internal brand documents for print or web as needed
- Support in the upkeep of the Wee Wild Ones website
- Support in blog writing and social media management
- Coordinate and support in execution of social media campaigns and ensure alignment with overall marketing campaign and Wee Wild Ones' mission
- Creates engaging and on-brand content for Wee Wild Ones, WilderFutures & Nature Calls social media platforms
- Manages social engagement and exposure through social media management tools
