As we continue to grow, we are seeking an dynamic Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our leadership team and support growth across the organization.

Role Specific Info

• Full-time, minimum 40 hours per week. 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday (with some flexibility)
• A Marketing, Communications or Public Relations undergrad (preferred) or a student/recent graduate within one of these programs
• 0-2 years of experience within the field of Marketing, Communications or Public Relations (university and volunteer experience will be considered)
• Police Clearance including a Vulnerable Sector Search (able to apply for this once hired into the role)

• Excellent writing skills with an emphasis on writing for the web and social media
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on time
• Photography and Graphic design skills
• Knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud Software (Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Knowledge and experience with Canva with experience using the platform
• Videography, editing and publishing skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support in the development and execution of marketing campaigns for various programs and events
• Coordinate and execute in email campaigns and ensure uniformity of content/messaging
• Design internal brand documents for print or web as needed
• Support in the upkeep of the Wee Wild Ones website
• Support in blog writing and social media management
• Coordinate and support in execution of social media campaigns and ensure alignment with overall marketing campaign and Wee Wild Ones' mission
• Creates engaging and on-brand content for Wee Wild Ones, WilderFutures & Nature Calls social media platforms
• Manages social engagement and exposure through social media management tools
