Our client has been an industry leader in heavy equipment rentals and sales for over 30 years. They are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, reliable person to join their dynamic inside/outside sales team. They are committed to provide top notch service and products to their clients in the heavy equipment sector.
The Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding their client base, with a focus on both rental and sales of heavy equipment. This role involves developing relationships with existing clients, prospecting new business opportunities, and effectively promoting their products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, lost lasting client relationships.
- Identify and prospect new clients for heavy equipment rentals and sales.
- Conduct regular outreach and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and uncover new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
- Travel within the Lower Mainland to meet with clients and prospects.
- Provide clients with quotes, product information, and recommendations based on their needs.
- Assist in coordinating equipment rentals and sales, working closely with the operations team.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience is an asset.
- Knowledge or experience with heavy construction equipment is an asset but not required.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for sales.
- Ability to travel within the Lower Mainland as needed.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $75K base, plus commission, $2000+ per month depending on performance.
