The Role
Are you a lawyer who thrives on strategic thinking and meaningful people work, and is looking for a fresh way to use your skills beyond the traditional practice of law?
Our seasoned executive search team at Amrop Rosin Calgary (formerly Pekarsky & Co.) is seeking a Legal and Executive Search Consultant to join our growing Calgary office. This role is ideal for a practicing lawyer who is ready to pivot into a more people-focused, strategic executive advisory role, or a former lawyer already working in talent, professional development or client service who is seeking deeper engagement in legal and executive search.
You will be joining a close-knit team that values collaboration, authenticity, and good judgment. From day one, you'll be entrusted with meaningful work: helping shape legal teams and advising organizations through leadership transitions that impact their business for years to come. Whether you're mapping the legal talent market, drafting a compelling candidate summary, or coaching a partner from a national law firm through a move, you'll be at the centre of people decisions that matter. Our award-winning firm has successfully completed nearly 250 legal searches for 22 of Canada's 30 largest law firms, as ranked by Lexpert, along with approximately 200 in-house counsel searches-including many of the most high-profile General Counsel mandates in Western Canada.
This is also a rare opportunity to learn the business of executive search from some of the most respected practitioners in the field, in a firm that genuinely invests in its people. You'll have access to mentorship, training, and hands-on guidance across all stages of the search process.
