What are the hours of work? 9 am to 5 pm

Daily Responsibilities

Working with the Director, Sourcing Execution and the Manager, Sourcing Execution, this role will influence sourcing decisions, drive supplier consolidation, cost savings and cost avoidance efforts.

This role will partner with senior management to proactively develop negotiation and contract strategies for high risk/complex and sensitive sourcing initiatives.

This role will gather and analyze data to create playbooks and strategies to support the different business models for services contemplated or currently under contract and prepare findings for senior management.

This role will develop and negotiate complex (strategically critical, high value, or high risk) contract strategies that will provide cost effective, sustainable solutions to Client's businesses, and optimize total value generated from Client's supplier base.

Technology & Tools

Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Used for Contract Creation and Review, Pricing Analyses, RFx Analyses, Executive Reviews, etc.

Ivalua would be a nice to have.

Must-have Skills/Experience and/or Education

  • 7-10 years experience
  • Experience in global procurement, sourcing, and relationship management
  • Understanding of procurement law and/or regulations
  • Leads complex deals with a total contract value of $3 million or more
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong contract acumen
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in leading and supporting stakeholder interactions/relationships
  • Achieving financial targets (individual targets of $5MM savings, and team targets of $25MM)
  • Ability to impact and influence
  • Service-oriented focus (building partnerships)
  • Business and financial insight
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong supplier management skills
  • Post-secondary education in Finance, related purchasing field, or procurement designation

Must be a strong communicator, have strong written skills, and be able to interpret complex documents
