As Cove Soda's Logistics Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring smooth processing and timely delivery of important samples for retailers, investors, and influencers. You'll work closely with our internal teams to support non-customer related logistics, assist with the delivery of marketing materials, and maintain accurate shipping records for product shipments. Your knack for organization and attention to detail will shine as you manage inventory, coordinate with warehouses, and track shipments every step of the way.

This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and qualifications required for the role of Logistics Assistant. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in logistics and fulfillment, with potential for growth within the company.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Process and fulfill all non-customer-related shipment requests; including buyer, investor, and influencer samples/kits

Support marketing's various shipping requests, including giveaway prizes, samples, POS materials, etc.

Complete necessary documentation for US product shipments, including commercial invoice & FDA Prior Notice

Maintain shipping records and track shipments to ensure they reach their final destination on time

Work with Cove warehouse for direct-from-warehouse shipment requests

Manage office shipping inventory, including product (USA and Canada) and shipping materials

Keep shipping space organized and coordinate the necessary ordering of additional storage needs

Manage PECO Pallet Transfers for customer orders

Assist in shipping cost analysis & budgeting for marketing shipment spend

Various logistics & office tasks as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Basic knowledge of shipping and logistics processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to lift and move packages as required.

Experience:

Previous experience in a logistics, fulfillment, or warehouse role is beneficial but not required.

Familiarity with inventory management and courier systems (FedEx, UPS, Purolator etc.) is a plus.

Work Environment:

Office and warehouse settings.

Physical activity, including lifting and moving packages.
