Description:
We are looking for An Aircraft Mechanic to be responsible for assembling, disassembling and repairing various mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
What you will be responsible for:
- Detect structural, mechanical or hydraulic aircraft problems and adjust and repair the problems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and procedures
- Repair and overhaul structural, mechanical or hydraulic aircraft systems
- Install and modify aircraft engines or other aircraft systems such as mechanical and hydraulic systems, flight control, fuel systems and pneumatic systems
- Dismantle airframes, engines or other aircraft systems for repair, return to a good condition, clean and reassemble them
- Perform routine maintenance and report/write up defects and order parts
- Check aircraft structural and mechanical systems and ensure that these systems meet the performance and safety standards of Transport Canada and AAR MRO Services Windsor
- Monitor quality of operations, identify anomalies and make necessary corrections
- Perform surveys of parameters; Read and interpret the parameters
- Actively participate in AAR Aircraft Services Windsor's Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting safety hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand and promote the company safety policy
- Keep detailed reports on the repair, inspection and certification of aircraft
What you will need to be successful in this role:
- Transport Canada 'M2' license
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Aircraft Maintenance
- 737 NG/Max and/or Embraer 170/190 endorsements an asset
- Clear understanding of manufacturers and regulatory documentation, including Service Bulletins, Engineering Drawings and ensuring a thorough application of technical documentation
- Meet the quality, cost and time commitments
- Read drawings and be rigorous in the use and application of technical documentation
- Clear understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS)
- Extensive knowledge and skilled use of tools of the trade and the processes to perform duties as assigned
- Master the use of complex equipment for testing
- Must have own set of tools and toolbox (specialty and calibrated tools provided)

Compensation:
The anticipated licensed salary range for this position is $34.01 to $39.28 hourly. If granted ACA, the anticipated salary range for this position is $39.46 to $50.30 hourly. This range reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
