About the Company
Our client is a successful organization downtown Toronto with 1000+ staff looking to hire an Application Support / Management Specialist for a hybrid full time position 3 days in-office per week.
About the Opportunity
- This person will be a part of a team of 2-3 analysts that manage 200+ applications across 1500 desktops across Canada.
- This team owns all the apps that run on the desktops - from Level 3 support to rolling out updates/patches/etc through SCCM/MECM/WMI packages and scripts.
- This person has to be very comfortable with complex PowerShell/batch scripting, everything that has to do with Windows OS (desktop) v10 (they will be moving to v11 in the summer), packaging/config/deployment of M365 and other desktop apps.
Required Experience/skills:
- Windows scripting languages (Power Shell, Batch processing)
- Windows 10/11 operating system configuration / customization / deployment / patch management / updates
- Windows applications packaging / complex configuration & integration / deployment / management / troubleshooting with SCCM and WMI
- Understanding of GPO/AD/Exchange and how it affects application management
- Experience with application support and configuration
- Microsoft M365 applications management / configuration / deployment
- Windows / Software deployment and distribution using Microsoft technologies (MECM, Autopilot, Intune etc.)
- Good communication skills
- Able to commute to downtown office 3 days/week

- Understand business and technical change management processes / QA and Dev cycle / risk, remediation and mitigation in application deployment
- Microsoft Teams management
- Microsoft Active Directory / Entra management (OU, Users, groups, group policies / group preference)
- Understand application licenses and its management
- Network understanding (DNS, DHCP, routing)
- Knowledge of databases, database connectivity, ODBC
Salary Range
$100,000+/year
