Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Generation
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend products and solution
- Ensure implementation of marketing strategies, plans, and programs
- Make customer visits on a regular rotation, report into Manager on discussions
- Sell to existing and source new B2B customers by providing product technical information and pricing in a timely manner
- Keep up with news and trends in the industry development
- Help grow and maintain revenue/profit in accordance with the company business plan
- Enter/facilitate orders processing to ensure accuracy and tolerance meets customers' need
- Continually communicate with procurement team to ensure product availability and fulfillment
- Help monitor, evaluate, and make suggestions with respect to lost business / and sales opportunities to continually improve on our results.
Customer Service and Technical Assistance
- Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns.
- Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Select suitable items from suppliers list base on customer specification and place orders with support from procurement staff
- Obtain accurate information from logistics team relating to shipment dates and expected dates of delivery.
- Work with logistics team to schedule shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
- Manage customers relations and provide customers after-sale service
Additional Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends, sale statistics and suggest improvements
Skills & Requirement:
- Self-motivated - drive to achieve personal development and proven ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
- Comfortable in cold-calling situations.
- Strong time management, organization skills and attention to detail
- Possess excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to prospect new customers, prioritize target customers and build rapport with B2B customers
- Great problem solver with excellent customer service skills
- Work well independently and with a diverse group of people by demonstrating teamwork skills, creativity, and initiative
- Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel on the job
- Proficient in MS office
- Driving skills is a must. A valid driver's license and a personal vehicle is required
Preferred:
- Strong communication skills both oral and written in both English and French
- Knowledge of CAD, bill of material and geometrical tolerances.
- Steel structural knowledge/experience of Fasteners and steel components etc
- Metal machining and fabrication experience a plus
- Minimum (2) years of sales experience and/or customer service.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business Admin, Mechanical, Metallurgy or Engineering Technology.
Salary Structure:
- Based salary plus commission
