THE POSITION
TALENT ACQUISITION
- You have previously managed the entire cycle of a Hiring Manager's talent acquisition need from intake to administration, through to successful hire and supporting onboarding and integration into the organization
- You have experience supporting the hiring of hourly/entry level roles, professional and technical roles, up to and including supervisory positions
- You enjoy collaborating and building relationships, you have helped candidates understand the business of the organization, as well as setting realistic role expectations
- You are creative, and have used Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting tools (LinkedIn, Indeed) to leverage the uniqueness of each of your candidate searches
- You understand the importance of Diversity and Inclusion throughout the process and leverage any available tools which ensure fair and equitable candidate processes
- You are customer centric in your ability to communicate and manage the talent acquisition process with the Hiring Manager and all candidates in the pool
- You have experience preparing valid and enforceable employment contracts across multiple provinces throughout Canada
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
- You have previous experience in employee relations, understanding the delicate, sensitive navigation of conversations with employees and managers
- You have previous experience with investigations, understanding the importance of sound documentation practices and detailed follow up as required
- You have functioned as a business partner, developing performance improvement plans and coaching others to have courageous conversations
- You can prepare for and execute on departures, following formal and informal approval processes
- Proactive in nature, you can plan and manage the flow of work for your role, adjusting and creating efficiencies as needed

THE QUALIFICATIONS
You have a post-secondary education in Human Resources, complimented by a minimum of three to five years' talent acquisition experience as well as previous employee relations experience in a medium to large sized, customer centric organization. A CHRP Designation is an asset. You have used applicant tracking systems (Workday) and recruiting tools (LinkedIn, Indeed) in your career. You have excellent written and oral communication skills and are fully bilingual in FRE/ENG, able to tailor the message to your intended audience. You have exceptional customer service skills that compliment your ability to connect as a business partner and help support the work of the business. You have intermediate Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
This position is based in our Canadian, Corporate Head Office, St. Catharines/Niagara-on-the-Lake. This role is available for a HYBRID working arrangement, available to be performed both in office (2-3 days a week) and home.
