Responsibilities
- Develop schedules based off sales forecast and actual into weekly and daily schedules. Ensure the schedules align with business priorities and operational efficiencies.
- Adjust and optimize schedules as needed due to incoming materials, near-term customer orders, and delivery changes that differ from the original schedule.
- Work closely with plant operations team to understand team member availability and related changes to production throughput, processing, and shipping.
- Daily communication with operations regarding schedules and any potential changes, keeping changes to a minimum.
- Utilize appropriate systems to drive efficiency, continuously improve productivity, and optimize scheduling. (Matrix, Microsoft Office, Ninety and Insightly)
- Ensure successful execution by utilizing effective planning processes (Ownership of weekly scheduling meetings) and communication with the cross functional teams.
- Set-up and maintain systems to facilitate efficient inventory management, customer service, and operational metrics.
- Work closely with suppliers to order animals to meet production needs
Important Details:
- This is a full-time, on-site role. Occasional flexibility may be required.
You'll fit right in if you have:
- Minimum 2 years supply chain, production scheduling, demand planning, or operations experience.
- Strong computer skills including knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office and Matrix are preferred. Including the ability to access reports and data to utilize the information and make effective analytical decisions.
- Possess ability to deal professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel. Ability to effectively present information with various departments and employees.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate clearly verbally and in written form.
- Strong organizational/time management skills.
- Self-motivated with strong multitasking, analytical thinking, problem solving and leadership skills.

Wage: $60K - 80K yearly salary based on experience.
