Inside Sales & Pricing Coordinator

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Inside Sales & Pricing Coordinator will develop new business and prospects through targeted outreach and follow up with potential clients through all available channels (e-mail, teams meetings, telephone calls, etc.). In addition, the role will be a key part of the Canadian pricing team, responding to and managing external and internal pricing inquiries and RFQ's/RFP's. The Inside Sales & Pricing Coordinator will optimize Vanguard's profitability, acting as liaison to the commercial functions including sales, operations, and procurement. The Inside Sales & Pricing Coordinator will be a key player in the development and execution of best practices, facilitating all aspects of sales and business development, price discovery, pricing and tariff management and support (as needed) the sales and business development activities of the organization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Qualify new business opportunities and ensure alignment of commercial and financial objectives with client needs and expectations.

Communicate sizeable business opportunities to the outside sales executive for follow-up and provide market intelligence.

Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers and prospects.

Expedite the resolution of customer questions, problems or complaints to ensure satisfaction

Develop pricing strategy by channel and customer segment to ensure maximum profitability while meeting sales volume and margin goals.

Manage various pricing data sets, including RFPs.

Analyze cost and pricing data, including competitor pricing strategies and market trends to provide management with information and policy/price change recommendations.

Complete customer quotation requests; follow up systematically to secure bookings and resolve any outstanding issues necessary to advance the sales process

Ensure a smooth sales process by communicating and seeking guidance and approval from sales and Operations management when necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

3 to 5 years related experience

Strong communication skills

Influencing and highly collaborative in group settings

Strong analytical skills and proven data management experience

Strong negotiation skills

Logistic pricing experience required

• French language skills a plus
