About The Job

As a Recruiter - Construction & Engineering, you will play a key role in sourcing top talent across permanent and contract roles within the construction, civil, and engineering industries. You'll be responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment, working closely with internal sales directors to identify the right fit for technical, skilled trades, and project-based positions.

You'll work in a structured, goal-driven environment where collaboration, consistency, and strong communication with clients and candidates are key. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships and delivering high-quality recruitment solutions in a specialized space.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Recruit for a range of construction and engineering positions, such as estimators, project managers, site supervisors, and civil, structural, or mechanical engineers
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and facilitating offers and onboarding
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and divisional leads to understand technical job requirements, project timelines, and team structure
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified engineering professionals through proactive sourcing strategies, networking, and database management
  • Conduct interviews, reference checks, and coordinate technical assessments as required
  • Track recruitment activity, candidate progress, and client feedback in our internal ATS system
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality benchmarks throughout the recruitment process

What We Need From You

  • Bilingual - French & English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and candidates in both languages
  • 2+ years of recruitment experience, ideally within construction, engineering, or technical services; staffing agency experience preferred
  • Strong sourcing and headhunting skills using job boards, LinkedIn, Boolean search, and niche platforms
  • Experience recruiting for mid-to-senior level roles in engineering and construction, including professional designations
  • Highly organized with strong administrative and documentation skills
  • Comfortable engaging with technical hiring managers to understand complex project needs and role specifications
  • Personable, professional, and adaptable - able to manage multiple searches while maintaining a high level of service for both candidates and clients
  • Able to work in a hybrid model: 3 days a week at our Montreal office and 2 days remote
