Position Summary

We are looking for a results-driven and motivated Account Executive to join our growing Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business and managing existing accounts across our Over-the-Road (OTR) and Drayage divisions. This is a client-facing role focused on revenue growth, account retention, and volume development within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities in the OTR and Drayage trucking sectors with focus on OTR.
  • Develop and manage a growing book of business with a focus on revenue and volume.
  • Conduct outbound sales efforts including cold calls, emails, meetings, and on-site visits.
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing customers through consistent service and communication.
  • Work closely with operations to align customer needs with service execution and capabilities.
  • Lead onboarding of new clients, ensuring clear communication of service expectations.
  • Deliver engaging presentations highlighting the scope of our transportation solutions.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key accounts.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure follow-through on all sales activities.

Qualifications and Competencies

All MEDLOG Canada employees are expected to exhibit the MEDLOG Values, striving to drive customer centric results in all interactions with colleagues and customers alike.

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, logistics, transportation, or 3PL environments.
  • Proven success in new business development and account management.
  • Strong understanding of Drayage, OTR, warehousing, or cross-border transportation.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and customer needs with urgency and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
