Technical Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION DETAILS:

We seek a Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver technology-based/ software development projects and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. They should be able to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets

• Coordinate and manage project resources, including staff, vendors, and contractors

• Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations and are delivered on time and within budget

• Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop and implement mitigation strategies

• Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior management and project sponsors

• Facilitate meetings and communication between project team members, stakeholders, and other project-related groups

• Ensure project deliverables are of high quality and meet or exceed customer expectations

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and project sponsors

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or experience in a related field

• 5-7 years of experience in a technical project management role

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and technologies

• Experience leading projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• PMP or other Project Management certification is a plus
