The Saint John Sea Dogs are seeking a successful, motivated and tenured sales professional to focus on selling Saint John Sea Dogs season tickets, group tickets and ticket packages, while providing excellent customer service. The suitable candidate will be a self-starter who can generate sales through proactive sales strategies and creative initiatives that engage all types of fans and has a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly contribute to increasing revenue through lead generation and qualifying prospects
  • Achieve and surpass defined targets for new business for all products; including season tickets, ticket packages and group tickets
  • Achieve KPIs each week as defined, through email, text and phone calls
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships through exceptional guest service
  • Provide superior customer service at every step of the sales process, including after the sale
  • Engage Season Ticket Members throughout the season through email, text and phone calls
  • Creation of new events and ideas to contribute to the overall satisfaction of our Season Ticket Members
  • Work within the Ticketmaster ecosystem on a daily basis
  • Execute experiences on game days and events as required
  • Create and execute events throughout the season and summer to generate fan interest
  • Attend community events to spread awareness surrounding Sea Dogs ticketing

Requirements:

  • Sport Management or Business-Related post-secondary education
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with sports ticketing
  • B2B selling experience considered an asset
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable managing a robust pipeline and navigating long-term sales cycles
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Working knowledge of Ticketmaster (Archtics) and use of a CRM system
  • Access to a vehicle and a drivers license
