The ideal candidate must have previous Leadership experience in administration and management in child care (5+ years preferred), a comprehensive understanding of current licensing regulations, Alberta Public Health and the Provincial Framework; FLIGHT. Strong communication skills, including the ability to have professional conversations, problem solving, critical thinking, and the ability to inspire a team of Educators are a must.

Answering to the Executive Director, the Program Director will be responsible for the day to day operations of the center and will also engage in creating and fostering relationships with Community Stakeholders, fellow management team members and create strong professional relationships with Educators, children and families.

Monthly Salary stated does not include Provincial Wage Enhancement and will be based on education and previous leadership experience.

Qualifications: Certification by Alberta Staff Qualifications as a Level 3, education specifically in Early Childhood Education (equivalent education combined with experience in an ELCC environment will be considered), current First Aid in Child Care (or be willing to obtain) and a Criminal Background Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Search. (Current within 6 months)
