GENERAL FUNCTION

The Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will play an integral role in the development of presentations, dashboards, analyses, and KPIs for management and the Board of Directors. The individual will work closely within the FP&A and Accounting teams as well as other stakeholders throughout the organization.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Spearhead the coordination, preparation and development of weekly and monthly reporting packages for management under tight deadlines.
Prepare detailed KPI reports for management and the Board.
Assist with the preparation of Management Business Review, Board of Directors and other presentations as required.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting processes.
Support the retail business by developing reports and analysis to facilitate key business decisions such as incentive payments, business optimization, and forecasting.
Assist with development and reporting of store level performance, profitability, and efficiency analysis.
Compile and analyze product level data, KPIs and financial information.
Assist with ad hoc requests and projects that utilize financial and business metrics.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree required, MBA or CPA is a plus.

EXPERIENCE

3-4+ years of experience in an analytical financial role with progressive responsibilities.

SKILLS

Ability to prioritize duties as assigned and have a strong sense of urgency during tight deadlines
Strong power point skills with the ability to manage and develop presentation slides
Strong analytical and excel modeling skills, ability to work with large data sets; deliver insight from complex information
Attention to detail and the highest standards for accuracy and precision
Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities
Passion to automate processes using our financial planning and analytics tools
Experience using Hyperion (HFM), general ledger systems, and forecasting tools
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Good knowledge of generally accepted accounting principals
Ability to work independently and find solutions in a fast-paced, quickly changing and sometimes unstructured environment
