About the Role

Our Fixed Income Cash & FX team is seeking a Data Lineage Developer to enhance the visibility and traceability of data across our systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, a passion for data, and a desire to work in a dynamic, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance strategic Fixed Income Cash & FX systems to enable comprehensive data flow capture in the firmwide data catalog.
  • Annotate system code to define and document datasets representing risk data processed and stored within our systems.
  • Modify build systems to automatically publish datasets and their updates accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with upstream and downstream system SMEs to document end-to-end data lineage across Fixed Income systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and supporting large-scale production systems.
  • Strong understanding of Fixed Income products and domain knowledge.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex data models and schemas.
  • Experience navigating and understanding large codebases across multiple programming languages.
  • Proficiency in Perl, Java, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with C++ is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, Autosys, Shell scripting, JSON, YAML, and build pipeline systems.
  • Knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
  • Exposure to messaging/streaming systems is an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
