We're looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Account Executive to join our team in Vancouver. This is a hunting role focused on acquiring new logo customers across Western Canada. The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales professional with a deep understanding of B2B technology sales, particularly in the areas of colocation, cloud, and hybrid IT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities
- Develop a strong pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and strategic channel partnerships
- Conduct consultative sales discussions to understand client needs and position solutions effectively
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle including proposal creation, presentations, negotiations, and closing
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineering, marketing, and product teams to tailor solutions
- Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM updates (e.g., Salesforce)
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build market presence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in data center, cloud, or IT infrastructure services
- Proven track record of hunting and closing new business; comfortable with a quota-carrying role
- Strong understanding of colocation, public/private/hybrid cloud models, and managed services
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Based in the Greater Vancouver area with willingness to travel regionally
Nice to Haves:
- Experience selling to verticals such as finance, healthcare, SaaS, or government
- Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
