Small town, growing firm looking for someone who is willing to help build out the family law practice and commit to being part of the firm for the long term. Potential later on for the ideal candidate to become a partner/shareholder.

Role Description

This is a flexible role for a Family Lawyer at Saggio Law PC located in King City, ON. We are open to someone starting off on a part time basis and building up to full time, or starting with someone full time immediately.

The Family Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients on family law matters, drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, representing clients in court, and negotiating settlements.

Qualifications

• Family Law expertise and experience
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Experience in drafting legal documents and representing clients in court
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle sensitive matters
• License to practice law in Ontario
• Additional languages spoken is a plus

Legal aid certificate is preferred but not required, and your own book of clients is strongly preferred. We are willing to pay the ideal candidate a base rate, plus a percentage of their billings.
