Our client, an established leader in commercial building solutions, is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator for a 6-month contract role at their Vaughan location. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic marketing team in driving brand visibility, coordinating events, and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
About the Role:
As the Marketing Coordinator, you'll play a key role in executing digital and event-based marketing initiatives. From managing social media platforms and crafting compelling content to coordinating trade shows and supporting internal teams, this position is ideal for a proactive marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to boost brand awareness and engagement
- Create, schedule, and manage content across platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Monitor performance analytics and adapt campaigns based on insights
- Organize and coordinate events such as trade shows, webinars, and promotional activities
- Plan and deploy email marketing campaigns, including segmentation and performance analysis
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives
- Assist in updating website content and managing digital assets
- Support the development of marketing collateral such as brochures, newsletters, and presentations
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and opportunities
- Provide general support to the marketing team and assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, or a related field
- Hands-on experience in social media management, event coordination, and email marketing
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong multitasking abilities and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Microsoft Dynamics
- Strong familiarity with website platforms (e.g., Wix), Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva
- Highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to assist with physical tasks (e.g., setup and takedown at events)
