THE ROLE
New Metric Media is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of marketing and social initiatives across our content brands, e-commerce, and corporate brand, working closely with internal stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working closely with the VP of Marketing & Communications to develop, plan and execute marketing campaigns, across digital, social and other platforms, to communicate brand stories to drive awareness, viewership and fandom for New Metric's content brands
- Oversee the digital and social media roadmap/calendar from strategic brief through content creation/execution to deliver on business priorities
- Conceptualize digital and editorial strategy across key digital and social platforms and explore expansion to new channels where relevant
- Help to create clear and effective marketing plans, creative briefs, campaign budgets, and performance benchmarks
- Develop, track and deliver marketing materials for New Metric series including bonus content (series trailers, sizzle reel, episode trailers, key clips, behind-the-scenes content), distribution support materials (series synopses, episode synopses, cast and crew bios), marketing and art assets (series bible, logos, key marketing images, gallery photography, publicity stills, fonts, additional graphic elements), and website and social media materials (social media handles, and cast/partner handles)
- Support content partners proactively with ideas and assets in support of on-air programming
- Analyze social media performance and audience metrics to create KPI-driven, best-in-class content strategies
- Assist the VP of Marketing & Communications in maintaining close relationships with programming and creative teams to drive the development of creative assets
- Assist with PR efforts as needed, including media outreach, list building, events, and cast relations
- Assist with the creation of presentations and collateral materials to support global distribution, partnership and licensing sales efforts
QUALIFICATIONS
- College or University degree or the equivalent in Business Marketing, Advertising and/or Business Strategy.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Marketing role, with a focus on brand, growth, consumer engagement and digital and social media marketing
- Proven experience developing both awareness and conversion-based integrated marketing strategies across the consumer journey
- Passionate about social media as a creative medium and marketing platform
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing trends, audience behavior, and platforms including Google, YouTube, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and TikTok
- Exceptional analytical skills; strong focus on ROI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and audience engagement
- Highly energetic team player who thrives in a demanding, fast-moving but loosely structured creative environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit: aptitude for measured risk-taking, exploring unconventional ideas and thinking and the ability to move quickly on new opportunities
- Desire and ability to think tactically, seeing the big picture and taking on the hands-on execution required for success of any given project or campaign
