About the Role
We're looking for a results-driven, detail-obsessed Paid Google Ads Specialist with 4-6 years of experience managing high-performance SEM campaigns. You'll be joining our growing Paid Media team to plan, execute, and optimize Google Ads campaigns that deliver meaningful business outcomes - leads, sales, and scale.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in performance environments, understands how to manage complex accounts with media budgets ranging from $10,000 to $100,000/month, and brings a proactive attitude to every stage of campaign development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and launch Paid Search campaigns aligned with client goals (awareness, lead generation, ecommerce sales).
- Own and manage day-to-day performance of Google Ads campaigns including bid adjustments, keyword expansions, negative keyword strategy, audience layering, and geo/device optimizations.
- Monitor pacing and spend to ensure alignment with monthly budgets and KPIs.
- Perform in-depth keyword research, competitive landscape reviews, and targeting strategy development.
- Continuously optimize campaign elements to drive better CPA/CPL outcomes-ad copy, extensions, bid strategies, and landing page alignment.
- Conduct weekly performance analysis with insights and recommended actions; report on wins, learnings, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Senior Media Buyers, Account Managers, Technical, and Creative teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
- Leverage Google Analytics, conversion tracking, and attribution models to inform strategy and performance shifts.
- Stay ahead of Google Ads platform updates, SEM best practices, and industry benchmarks to refine approach.
- Support senior media planners in account audits, QBR preparations, and media strategy presentations.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of hands-on SEM campaign management, specifically on Google Ads.
- Proven track record running and optimizing campaigns with monthly budgets of $10,000-$100,000.
- Strong experience optimizing for CPL and CPA across lead generation and e-commerce campaigns.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and campaign tracking methodologies.
- Experience with conversion tracking setup, audience segmentation, and retargeting.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and pivot strategy accordingly.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Confident communicator who can articulate performance insights clearly and professionally.
- Self-starter with a proactive, ownership-first mentality.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in an agency environment.
- Google Ads certifications (Search, Display, Measurement).
- Exposure to CRO or landing page optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with other platforms (Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads) is a plus.
