Job Summary:

Dacaro Services is seeking a Linux Automation Engineer with expertise in Red Hat 7/8/9, Ansible automation, and container orchestration technologies such as Anthos Bare Metal or OpenShift. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be comfortable collaborating with application teams to troubleshoot issues, recommend remediations, and drive best practices in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Build, configure, and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7/8/9 environments.

Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate system builds, BAU (Business-As-Usual) activities, and operational tasks.

Deploy and manage Anthos Bare Metal or OpenShift container/orchestration technologies.

Collaborate with application teams to troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement best-practice solutions.

Work proactively to optimize system performance, security, and reliability.

• Provide technical guidance and drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventions.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7/8/9 in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in Ansible, with experience writing playbooks for automation and configuration management.
• Experience with Anthos Bare Metal or OpenShift for container orchestration and
• deployment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve system/application issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with application teams, provide technical guidance, and recommend best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additional automation tools such as Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
