Job Purpose
You will be a member of a collaborative, client-focused team, and contribute through strong communication and problem-solving abilities. This role involves delivering exceptional client service while providing administrative, marketing, and sales support to Portfolio Managers. You will also support overall team performance by mentoring and assisting colleagues, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within deadlines.
This is a full time hybrid role.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Deliver a superior client experience by assisting clients and SOIs, earning their trust by responding to requests and questions in a timely manner.
2. Drive and take ownership of the onboarding process to ensure a seamless and positive start to the client relationship.
3. To communicate and work with Portfolio Managers and Associates to resolve any critical issues.
4. To assist in the production, mailing and tracking of quarterly reports and other marketing materials. 5. To administer client Registered Plan contributions, payments, transfers and withdrawals.
6. Maintain all pending plan transfers to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
7. Utilize contact management system for daily task management and client record-keeping.
8. Work with internal operational teams to resolve issues that may arise and respond to client inquiries 9. Understand the platform of investment products and services, enabling you to service clients
10. Undertakes and executes project work as directed fitting it in with own workload, to ensure that all own and project/strategic plan deliverables are met.
Experience/Qualifications Preferred
- 3+ years of related or transferable work experience
- Able to communicate with clients about financial and taxation issues
- Extensive Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint experience including formatting, charting, importing charts and pictures.
- SalesForce experience
- Accounting background or experience useful
- University degree or equivalent
- Canadian Securities Course
Job Competencies Required
- In depth experience and knowledge of the administration of registered plans such as RRSPs, RRIFs, LIFs, TFSAs RESPs etc.
- Good judgment coupled with the ability to set clear expectations and make sound decisions
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task including superior time management skills

- Excellent attention to detail including strong numeracy skills
