MISSION

Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, the Inside Sales Representative for the HVAC division serves as a key point of contact for our customers. In this pivotal role, you will be the front line of our customer experience, playing a critical part in ensuring client satisfaction and building long-term customer loyalty.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fully embrace and engage in our team's commitment to building and maintaining trusted relationships with our clients by consistently delivering a Customer Experience that is personal, memorable and exceeds their expectations.

• Provide an outstanding level of customer service to clients and coworkers at all times

• Build trusted relationships with colleagues throughout the company

• Respond to customer inquiries received via telephone, email, and in person (at the counter)

• Perform all inside-sales-related administrative tasks (i.e. research, quotes, follow-up, order entry, invoicing, warranty claims, etc.)

• Ensuring that the information you include in every quote and work order accurately reflects the request of the customer as well as the policies, pricing and best practices of the company.

• keep abreast of new supplier products and promotions, update pricing, attend training/information sessions as required

• Play an important role in the annual warehouse inventory process, including advance preparations, bin locating, pre-counts, etc.

• Other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Branch Manager

QUALIFICATIONS :

• COMMUNICATION: Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

• SALES & SERVICE: Previous experience in a Sales / CSR role (in a technical environment), is preferred

• ENTERPRISING: Ability to see new opportunities, negotiate and influence positively, close the deal

• SELF-ORGANIZATION: Ability to identify and prioritize tasks, work productively, and with little direct supervision

• RELATIONSHIPS: Ability to build trusted relationships with customers

• BUSINESSLIKE: Must be methodical, logical, efficient, organized, problem solver, work well under pressure, able to multitask

• EXPERIENCED: Previous experience in the HVAC and/or HEARTH (Fireplace) products industry would be an asset.

• FLEXIBLE: Willing and able to adjust hours and/or work overtime, occasionally.
