ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team to lead and coordinate all aspects of facilities and safety across College properties from day-to-day operations and maintenance to long-term capital planning and project delivery. You'll work closely with senior leadership, government partners and contractors to ensure our campuses are safe, efficient and well-maintained.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement facility policies, budgets and annual operating plans
  • Lead capital projects: proposals, funding applications, tendering, construction oversight
  • Oversee maintenance schedules, safety protocols (OH&S, emergency planning, security) and minor repair programs
  • Manage janitorial/custodial contracts and leased-facility agreements
  • Prepare regular reports for College leadership, Board and government ministries
  • Represent the College on facilities, health & safety and security committees

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or journeyperson ticket in a related field + 5 years' experience in institutional facilities/project management
  • WHMIS, OHS Levels 1 & 2 certification; valid driver's licence
  • Strong budgeting, contract negotiation and team-leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and collaborative problem-solving abilities
  • BOMI RPA/FMA or IFMA certifications an asset

The position is a 1 year term, full-time opportunity with the College. The anticipated contract start date is ASAP and ending June 30th, 2026.
