Reports to: Personal Lines Manager

Summary: Responsible for quoting and sale of automobile and property insurance.

Job Duties

  • Quote and sell automobile and property insurance to clients while strictly following sales process and underwriting guidelines
  • Advise and coach clients on what type of coverage/policy would best meet their needs
  • Identify and make recommendations for additional products/services
  • Provide front line underwriting
  • Processing applications through insurer broker portals
  • Invoicing new policies in broker management system
  • Ensure policy documents are processed correctly
  • Follow up on any outstanding items within allowable timeframe
  • Outbound calling to existing Cal LeGrow Clients

Requirements:

  • High school diploma. A post-secondary diploma or degree will be an asset.
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role within the insurance industry.
  • Valid property and casualty insurance representative license or the ability to promptly

satisfy the requirements for licensing.

  • An industry professional designation such as CAIB or CIP will be an asset, or interest in

professional development.

  • Client-focused with excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Extremely well organized with excellent analytical skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive and supportive attitude.
