Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales consultant to drive volume, distribution, merchandising, and pricing performance for a portfolio of premium wines, spirits, and related products. This role will work across on-premise and off-premise channels, partnering closely with distributors and key accounts to execute impactful sales and marketing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and strengthen relationships with importers and distributors to ensure focus and alignment with brand goals.
- Support, guide, and motivate distributor sales teams within their existing structures.
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and implement annual sales plans.
- Actively manage brand presence in the territory through account visits and engagement.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels by SKU to prevent stockouts and support growth.
- Implement consumer activation programs, including in-store tastings and demos (on- and off-premise).
- Build strong relationships with importer teams including Sales, Marketing, and Operations staff.
- Support sales and marketing program execution across all assigned markets.
- Assist in budget planning and tracking for sales initiatives.
- Ensure correct pricing structures and shelf pricing are implemented.
- Oversee the use of POS materials and ensure they align with brand programs.
- Visit key accounts regularly to ensure program execution and brand visibility.
- Participate in importer planning and sales meetings.
- Travel frequently within the territory and occasionally outside the region for business needs.
- Achieve sales and brand KPI targets as defined by leadership.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry
- Previous experience as a Brand Ambassador, Sales Representative, or Trade Marketer is a plus
- Strong sales drive with proven relationship-building and networking skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset; self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking skills
- Strong verbal communication and presentation abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel extensively (4-5 days/week)
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, etc.)
- Bilingual in French and English is required
- Existing relationships with wholesaler management are a plus
