The Opportunity
We're hiring a Founding Account Executive to own the entire sales cycle-from identifying high-fit brands to closing new partnerships. You'll be our first dedicated AE, working closely with the founder to build and refine our outbound motion, pitch SmartRecover's value prop, and drive revenue.
This is a high-impact, high-ownership role. You'll help shape our sales process from the ground up and be instrumental in taking us from $2M to $10M+ in ARR.
What You'll Do
- Own outbound outreach to DTC healthcare operators (email, LinkedIn, light cold calling)
- Run discovery calls, build business cases, and close deals
- Understand our clients' funnel economics and tailor your pitch to the highest-leverage pain points
- Refine our messaging, build collateral, and influence positioning based on what you hear in the field
- Build a pipeline and drive deals from open to closed-won-measured on revenue, not just meetings
- Collaborate directly with the founder and client ops team to ensure a seamless onboarding handoff
You're a Great Fit If You
- Have closed deals in a B2B setting (startup, agency, or SaaS)-bonus if selling into DTC or healthcare
- Are comfortable leading strategic conversations with founders, Heads of Growth, or Marketing leads
- Are equal parts hunter and consultative closer-you know how to build value and urgency
- Thrive in early-stage chaos and want real influence over go-to-market strategy
- Are based near Kitchener or open to working in-person 1-2x per week
