The Job!
As the Social Media Coordinator, you will assist in creating and executing social media strategies, including campaign planning and content calendars. You will also:
- Develop and manage content (text, images, video) aligned with brand voice and audience
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages to build a strong online community
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools and recommend improvements
- Stay current with social media trends and best practices to keep content relevant
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other teams to align social efforts with business goals
- Use social platforms, CMS tools, and analytics software to manage and evaluate performance
What you bring to the job
You are someone with strong communication and writing skills for creating compelling content. You also come with:
- Analytical skills to interpret data and optimize strategy
- Effective time management and organizational abilities
- Creative mindset for generating fresh, engaging content
- Proficient with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Buffer, Canva.
- Degree/ Diploma in marketing, communications, supply chain, retail (examples)
- Experience in social media marketing or content creation is valuable
