We are now looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who thrives on shaping brand stories, building thought leadership, and collaborating with a dynamic team. This full-time, in-person role is ideal for a mid-level professional marketer ready to grow their strategic impact. You'll join a high-energy environment where your ideas and voice matter. Working closely with our Managing Director, product leads, and client services team, you'll help tell Valency's story and position us as a trusted leader in project assurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Brand & Thought Leadership
- Shape Valency's digital voice across our website, blog, social media, and webinars.
- Create content that reflects industry leadership, client value, and real-world outcomes.
- Collaborate with leadership to craft compelling narratives that reinforce brand positioning.
Digital Marketing & Campaigns
- Develop and manage Valency's social media presence (primarily LinkedIn) including content creation (e.g. blog posts), scheduling, and engagement strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies
- Monitor performance of social media efforts and iterate based on analytics and feedback.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to translate insights into shareable social posts, infographics, or event promotions.
- Plan and execute campaigns using Zoho Campaigns, Zoho CRM, and Zoho Social.
- Develop targeted email campaigns, event promotions, and nurturing workflows.
- Support webinars, training courses, and conference initiatives, from promotion to speaker coordination.
Website & SEO Optimization
- Manage Valency's WordPress website, ensuring great UX and on-brand content.
- Optimize site structure and content for SEO; analyze keyword performance.
Visual & Creative Content
- Design visual assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to support campaigns, reports, and social content.
- Develop infographics, social tiles, and presentation materials that resonate with our audience.
Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Use Zoho Analytics to monitor and evaluate the performance of digital initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization across all digital touchpoints.
Qualifications
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada (citizenship or permanent residency required)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing in a B2B or technology setting.
- Experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.
Technical & Creative Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft TEAMS, Zoho One tools or similar CRM/marketing platforms.
- Comfortable working in WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to tone, clarity, and alignment.
- Understanding of SEO, SEM, and analytics best practices.
Soft Skills
- Enthusiastic team player with a collaborative, facilitative approach to working cross-functionally.
- Comfortable leading initiatives and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
