Insight Global is looking for a Systems Analyst to join our client in the retail apparel and fashion industry on a 6-month contract basis with possibility of extensions. This is a hybrid role that will require you to be on-site a minimum of 3-days per week in Vancouver, BC. You will be involved in software configurations, workflow implementation and maintenance. This is a cross-functional role that will have you coordinating with engineering/systems and professional services team to develop the most cost-effective solution that meets business expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports product management on functional requirements with understanding of process, data and system flows to facilitate design decisions within a functional domain.
• Participates/Leads design discussions with understanding of process, data and system flows to facilitate design decisions within a functional domain.
• Has strong sense of ownership with the ability to drive clarity in complex and ambiguous scenarios.
• Proficient with systems-thinking and able to articulate them to various groups across the organization.
• Owns making configuration within the selected platforms
• Guides teams to resolve complex and severe technical issues.
• Supports one or more moderately to highly complex business processes
• Undertakes production support and incident management responsibilities
• Champions best practices around data standards, policies, and procedures
• Engages with solution architect and engineers to design/configure solutions
• Supports/involves in ensuring quality of delivery processes
• Leads end-to-end testing as a SME and supports business stakeholders during UAT.

Must Haves

- 4+ years' experience as a Systems Analyst or System Administrator

- Possess expert level understanding of software development practices and project life cycles

- Proven experience with large-scale systems/application implementation

- Experience configuring, maintaining, and supporting complex software systems, including production support

- Experience setting up support processes, monitoring/alerting/dashboarding for production software systems and interpreting telemetry

- Has good understanding of development platforms (packaged and/or custom) within a functional domain.

- Understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge

Plusses

- Experience in a retail environment is an asset.

- Any experience with CBX Software

Logistics

• Role Type: 6-Month Contract w/Extensions
• Role Environment: Hybrid, On-Site 3x/week
• Hourly Rate: $44-$54/hr
