RMUS is the leading Remotely Operated and Autonomous Robotics provider in North America. We provide cutting edge equipment, industry leading training programs (online and in person), and professional and technical support services. We service 3 core verticals, Public Safety, Industrial and Military. We are specialists in developing enterprise/agency wide robotics programs which provide enhanced situational awareness and inspection capability resulting in better decision making. Our solutions are used daily by industrial, commercial, government (all levels) and educational entities across Canada, the USA and are generating interest internationally.
Our Director of Marketing and Digital will be a seasoned professional with extensive B2B experience in a technical field. Your main goal will be to develop the strategy that will take us to 9 figures and to build RMUS's digital presence. You'll set and achieve aggressive goals and will want to have an impact.

The Role
This role is for someone that can adapt and move quickly. Someone with a strong understanding of driving marketing campaigns across all channels: Digital, Social, and Traditional but is already thinking about how AI will completely blow up marketing. This role will own all RMUS Content and Digital Assets including Website, Social Channels, and the Shopify Store. The current focus will be on North America but this could expand in the near future.
We are looking for someone to build an efficient and effective marketing machine based on our brand positioning and strategic objectives that ensures we get the right message to the right customers. Reporting directly to the President, you are a critical component to our growing team.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 10-12 years of marketing experience in a B2B environment with a minimum 2-3 years background in marketing technical products,
- Marketing Strategy Development and the ability to build and manage a marketing plan,
- "Business Thinking" - Understand how a business makes money and builds value internally and for customers,
- Experience in both developing content and an overall content strategy,
- Experience in Digital marketing where you have driven lead gen initiatives,
- High level understanding of digital marketing tools,
- A naturally creative person who has the willingness to experiment,
- Able to build great relationships with everyone,
- Adept at juggling multiple priorities and knows the importance of keeping everything well documented and organized,
- Detail-oriented, with superior project management and follow-through skills.
Nice to have's:
- Prior experience working in Robotics.
- Prior experience in a high growth company.
- Proven ability to do more with less.
- Deployment of AI agents for marketing purposes (or at least understanding and a potential plan).
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
- Prior experience identifying and building out new channels to drive lead generation.
- Exposure and working knowledge of marketing automation tools.
What you will do:
- In collaboration with the general manager, develop the overall marketing strategy and a yearly execution plan.
- Manage the month to month execution of campaigns and track results, making adjustment based on success levels.
- Implement plans to increase brand awareness and market share.
- Implement, and monitor our digital marketing campaigns across all digital networks.
- Work with our technical team to collaborate on new topic ideas and publish thought leadership content.
- Be a key contributor to a growth strategy for new and existing marketing channels.
- Recruit and build a high performance team of people, agencies and agents.

Location
This is a full time in person position. Mississauga (Preferred), Ottawa, or Calgary based can be considered.
Compensation
Base Salary - 100-120k
Total Compensation $120-160k with uncapped upside based on performance.
Full Benefits - Includes medical, dental, RRSP match
