JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for an IT SOX Tester to join a consulting client downtown Toronto. This person will be responsible for ensuring the client's IT systems and processes comply with the SOX Act. Key responsibilities include evaluating IT General Controls, Conducting SOX Compliance Testing, Documenting and Reporting, and Collaborating with Auditors.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 4-5 years of experience IT SOX

- IT General Controls: assessing controls related to access management, change management and data integrity

- IT Automated Controls: testing access controls, assessing data validation, monitoring transactions

- Key report testing: creating detailed documentation of control activities and reporting any deficiencies or issues to management

- SOC1: Testing controls related to financial reporting, such as those ensuring data integrity and accuracy in financial systems

- SOC2: Evaluating controls related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. This includes testing IT systems to ensure they meet these criteria.

- IPEs: validating IPE's and testing controls over IPE's
