Business Systems Analyst (Contract Position)
Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 6 months
Location: Markham, ON, CA
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Hybrid position, 3d/w onsite mandatory, subject to change, no exceptions
Must have skills/qualifications/experience
5+ years BSA experience working on Scrum teams.
Must be Guidewire Ace Certified.
3+ years' experience working in personal insurance.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Collaborate on planning, prioritization, and design.
• Understand the business problem the project is tasked with solving and ensure project team does not lose sight
of it.
• Work with project team on defining and managing project scope.
• Working on business requirements related to IT/Digital Development.
• Document business requirements and translating them into technical requirements.
• Create, monitor and constant review of sprint plans looking for opportunities to optimize where applicable.
• Organize and lead working sessions and project update meetings within various levels of the organization.
• Work closely with business and technical team members in support of project deliverables.
• Identify project issues/roadblocks and steps for mitigation and resolution.
• Provide feedback and recommendations on project and process improvements.
What you'll bring
• 5+ years BSA experience working on Scrum teams.
• Must be Guidewire Policy Center Cloud Certified.
• Scrum Master Experience.
• Experience working on Conversion Projects is an asset.
• 3+ years' experience working in personal insurance.
• CIP Preferred or strong insurance knowledge.
