We are looking for a BI Developer for a full time permanent engagement. Role is hybrid with 1 day a month in Scarborough.

Role Overview:

• Position: BI Developer (focused on SAP BW and SAP Datasphere)
• Responsibilities: Collecting data from various systems, bringing it into the data warehouse, and supporting technologies. The role will also involve some self-service BI growth within the organization and collaborating with business teams to understand data needs.

Key Technologies:

• Core tech: SAP BW (specifically BW4Hana), SAP Datasphere (project in progress), SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), AWS (Lambda, S3, Athena, Glue), Python (optional but beneficial).
• Cloud: SAP4Hana and AWS.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience: Must have experience as a BW developer (BW4Hana), with some exposure to cloud environments and technologies like AWS. Need to have some BIBJ development experience. Just the BOBJ without BW experience won't work, however if they have the Business Objectives and BW background, they can learn BOBJ. Any knowledge of SAP Datasphere or Data Warehouse Cloud is a plus but not a requirement.
• Skills: Strong background in data engineering, analytics, and reporting, familiarity with dashboard tools (like PowerBI), and experience with BI technologies. Exposure to Python for data-related work is a bonus (as opposed to back-end or front-end dev work).
