Join us as a Manager, Industrial Sales leading our inside and outside sales team and strategy

The Industrial Sales Channel Manager plays a critical role in developing a high-performing team of inside and outside sales professionals, focused on driving business growth by identifying opportunities and making informed, timely and effective decisions. You will focus on expanding market share through the industrial sales team, by building strong client relationships focused on customer satisfaction, managing sales leads and prospecting new clients. We seek an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, and a blend of creativity and strategic insight capable of crafting and implementing effective, data-driven plans.

What You'll Do:

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Lead strategic initiatives to identify and drive new revenue growth opportunities for the Industrial Sales Team.
  • Partner with finance to design and refine comprehensive sales plans, presenting to senior leadership for alignment and approval.
  • Implement and execute sales plans to meet company objectives by expanding the customer based and achieving revenue targets.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and understand the customer needs, leveraging insights to drive sales strategies
  • Stay informed on market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive landscapes to make informed decisions and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Plan and execute business strategies aimed at achieving targeted revenue growth and expand new business by identifying and pursuing new strategic accounts to increase revenue.
  • Assess potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, customer requirements and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Track, manage and develop a sales pipeline to ensure accurate revenue projections and ensure we are capturing all opportunities.
  • Adapt strategies based on market conditions, customer feedback, and internal dynamics.
  • Proactively build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to uncover and create new business opportunities.

Team Leadership & Customer Experience

  • Develop a high performing sales team responsible to expand the customer base and build strong relationships.
  • Define clear goals, targets, and responsibilities for the sales team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Hold team accountability to high performance standards and ethical practices, removing barriers as required to ensure they can achieve identified goals and targets.
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to optimize strategies and alignment with company goals.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, analyzing feedback to enhance the customer experience.
  • Capture customer feedback and share cross functionally to drive improvements in service delivery.
  • Ensure the team consistently delivers exceptional service by promptly addressing concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction, and being available for escalations as needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and with influence to demonstrate value of product
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Promote, maintain, and ensure adherence to ethical practices within the sales team, upholding the company core values and reputation.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in managing sales generating accounts.
  • Proven experience in outside/inside sales, leading departmental goals and KPIs, with a track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Highly entrepreneurial and able to make data-driven decisions with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
