We're looking for a dynamic and driven summer student to join our team and help grow our on-premise presence across golf courses, bars, and restaurants throughout Ontario.
Position Overview:
We're looking for a motivated and outgoing summer student to join our Inside Sales team and support beverage alcohol sales across golf courses, bars, and restaurants. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the beverage alcohol industry, develop sales skills, and work directly with trade partners to help grow our on-premise business during peak season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to licensed golf courses, restaurants, and bars to promote Maverick's portfolio and secure product placements.
- Present seasonal offers and promotional programming aligned to our brand strategy.
- Build relationships with buyers, F&B managers, and owners to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Maintain accurate customer records in CRM and support reporting on sales activity and outcomes.
- Assist in identifying new account opportunities and help with onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with the Ontario Sales team to align outreach efforts with field execution.
- Gather feedback from customers to support continuous improvement and trade programming.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field).
- A passion for the beverage alcohol industry and an interest in building a career in sales.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a confident, professional phone presence.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using CRM tools.
- Must be of legal drinking age in Ontario (19+).
- Prior sales, customer service, or hospitality experience is an asset.
- Past experience in sales or customer service
- Smart Serve certified
- Valid drivers license
