We are looking for an Outside Sales Manager to join and support our growing sales team. We are looking for an energetic go getter who can exudes our company values.
The ideal candidate must be versatile in several areas including; account management, strategic growth planning and creating end user demand within the construction, mining, military and transit verticals. The ideal candidate should have a basic comfort level with power and generator systems and a willingness to personally lead the entry into the market.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Cold call or visit construction sites, transits, commercial and customer sites to identify potential sales.
Foster positive relationships at the end user and account rep level within the assigned region.
Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
Achieves assigned metrics and reports consistently.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications, Education & Skills:
5 years of account management or sales experience
Proven track record of positive sales performance
Experience working with industrial or commercial contractors
Strong communication & presentation skills
Creating and implementing a sales plan
Meeting sales goals by monitoring progress
Ability to analyse sales data
Management and leadership skills
Developing & adhere to budgets
Mentoring and coaching sales reps
Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Trade Electrical
