Position Summary:

We're looking for a Graphic Designer who combines creative flair with technical precision. In this role, you'll develop original concepts and work within established brand templates to deliver a wide range of materials-from marketing and event collateral to pitch decks and presentations.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working as part of the Marketing & Communications team, you'll help shape compelling visual communications that align with business goals and strengthen brand storytelling. You'll manage projects from concept to completion-interpreting briefs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and preparing files for both digital and print production.

This role is perfect for a detail-oriented creative who's passionate about turning ideas into impactful campaigns across every touchpoint.

Position Functions:

  • Design high-impact visuals that align with Sym-Tech's brand standards and support business goals.
  • Develop creative assets for integrated campaigns tied to product launches, market growth, customer communications, dealer training, and new F&I technologies.
  • Translate briefs into compelling, accurate designs delivered on time.
  • Collaborate across teams to create cohesive marketing materials that are strategically aligned and brand-consistent.
  • Contribute fresh ideas to concept development while maintaining visual consistency and brand integrity.
  • Prepare detailed, production-ready files for both print and digital channels.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices to keep creative output sharp and effective.
  • Juggle multiple projects with strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
  • Clearly communicate design rationale and provide thoughtful, strategic solutions.
  • Assist in developing annual marketing plans and budgets.

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • 3+ years of design experience, ideally in an in-house studio or agency; experience in B2B, automotive, or F&I industries is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in both digital and print design, including marketing collateral, POS materials, email, and web assets.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, with strong proficiency in InDesign.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI-powered design tools (e.g., Adobe, Canva) to enhance creativity, streamline workflows, and generate high-quality visual content.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI-driven techniques into the design process, including image generation, layout automation, or personalized content creation.
  • Solid understanding of layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices.
  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Highly organized, process-driven, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
  • Copywriting skills are considered an asset.
