As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences across various digital platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user interfaces that are both visually appealing and highly functional, ensuring a seamless user journey.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in UI/UX design are a bonus.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
Analytical Skills:
- Ability to conduct user research and translate findings into design solutions.
- Experience in creating user personas, journey maps, and usability testing plans.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
Required:
- 3-5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Hands-on experience with responsive design and mobile-first design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector or with healthcare-related projects.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines.
