Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Enercare in a professional, courteous and customer-centric manner; you are a proud ambassador for our company
  • Be comfortable with customer engagement and education
  • Perform electrical work to support residential HVAC system installations including furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, and water heaters
  • Collaborate and provide support to HVAC technicians and installation teams to ensure work is completed in accordance with ESA codes and safety standards
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company quality standards, ESA and customer expectations
  • Stay up to date with electrical codes, safety procedures, and emerging technologies in residential energy systems

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid 309A license
  • 2+ years of electrical experience
  • Field experience in service of Water Heaters & HVAC equipment, including Heat Pumps
  • Valid G Driver's License, with a clean driving record
  • Familiarity with the current edition of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code or Canadian Electrical Code is required
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position, i.e., occasional lifting of 25 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can be dusty and/or slippery.
  • Comfortable with technology such a iPads and digitally enrolling customers

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends, as needed
