Our client is a holistic wellness clinic dedicated to providing personalized care in a supportive and healing environment. Their services include integrative medicine, physiotherapy, naturopathy, massage therapy, and other wellness treatments. They are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Medical Receptionist.
Position Summary:
As the first point of contact, the Medical Receptionist plays a key role in creating a positive experience for clients and patients. You'll be responsible for managing the front desk, scheduling appointments, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in clients with a friendly and professional attitude
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and handle email correspondence
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using clinic management software
- Process payments and manage billing or insurance claims, if applicable
- Maintain and update client records while ensuring confidentiality
- Coordinate with practitioners and staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Keep the reception and waiting area clean and inviting
- Provide basic information about clinic services and products
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, inventory, and supply orders
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience providing exceptional customer service in a clinic or similar setting
- Must have a car and able to drive to clinics(occasionally)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working around wellness and alternative health services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or booking systems (e.g., Jane, MindBody)
- Knowledge of wellness or holistic health practices is an asset
- CPR or First Aid certification is a plus
