Position Title: Application Support Specialist

Length of Contract: 12 months

Physical Working Location: Toronto, ON M5X 1A1 Hybrid, in office Monday & Tuesday with some flexibility

Hours of Operation: 8am - 5pm EST

Pay Rate: $28.50/hr.

Role Mandate:

  • The Critical Application Support Specialist is responsible for logical and physical access provisioning and user administration functions for the business unit.
  • This role provides support, guidance and advice for all supported applications.
  • Provides a variety of general support services and tasks to support the business group.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate delivery of business objectives in accordance with applicable policies, processes, and controls.

Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for access provisioning and administration functions for critical applications including documentation, password resets and unlocks.
  • Provision equipment as well as systems access for AML Group.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders from various lines of business to ensure their requests are completed, and the appropriate action is taken.
  • On a rotating basis cover the team mailbox, and ensure the appropriate parties are looped in, and any necessary action is taken.

Must-Have Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 to 4 years experience required in a similar role.
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task efficiently and respond to requests in a prompt manner.
  • Must be able to manage deliverables, prioritize tasks and demonstrate quality. documentation and consistent execution.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively and manage one's time.
  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Previous experience with SharePoint/Power Apps Tools.
