As a Wholesale Establishment Manager in the scrap metal industry, you will be responsible for providing services to new and existing customers with professional and consistent deliveries. You will be responsible for the following: - Build strong relationships with key clients and manage the branch's profit and loss (P&L) to maximize gross profit using effective strategies. - Create budgets, track revenue, and improve customer service. - Negotiate costs and source materials strategically to meet target prices. - Work with scrap metal yards to finalize deals, send purchase orders, and set loading schedules. - Manage the supply chain by coordinating with shipping companies and setting sea freight rates. - Arrange bookings with shipping companies when needed. - Set annual goals for supply management and check progress every month. - Stay updated on international market trends when sourcing materials from North America. - Develop relationships with customers in countries like India, Malaysia, and the UAE. - Handle digital promotions and communicate purchase needs to all yards. - Oversee export documents, including sales invoices and bills of lading, for customers. - Maintain regular communication with customers about their monthly needs. - Manage wholesale and retail operations by researching the market to forecast sales and evaluate competitors. - Continuously work to improve customer service while monitoring revenue and staying within budget. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the wholesale sales industry at increasing levels of responsibilities is required. Excellent communication skills A completion of secondary school is required. Completion of the college program in a related field is considered an asset.
