Position Overview
The Marketing Communications Coordinator is designed to bridge the gap between marketing and sales through strategic communication efforts. This role emphasizes conducting marketing projects that align with sales objectives, developing marketing and sales opportunities, executing events, and maintaining public relations, ensuring consistent representation of our brand voice across multiple channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support marketing and sales objectives.
- Coordinate with freelancers and in-house media designers and web designers to ensure our brand voice is consistently and effectively represented across all channels.
- Assist in the planning and execution of promotional events and outreach campaigns, tracking engagement and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the team to leverage our Marketing Technology stack for broader brand voice propagation.
- Send off marketing email blasts in support to our organization.
- Coordinate the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and timelines for content release across all channels.
- Analyze market trends and consumer demands to tailor marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience and generate leads.
- Oversee the hands-on implementation of our social media strategy, making sure that it is effectively implemented, outsourcing resources as needed, tracking engagement, and adjusting tactics to enhance overall marketing effectiveness.
- Creation of written content for our marketing collaterals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
- Strong experience in marketing or communication, with a preference for candidates who have event planning experience.
- Proven ability to develop and execute marketing and communication strategies.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and current marketing practices, with a keen eye for identifying and adopting emerging trends.
Hard skills
- Familiarity with Canvas and similar template-based fast design solutions.
- Experience with Project Management.
- Hands-on experience with email marketing automation.
- Strong Familiarity with excel and spreadsheet manipulation.
- Great communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Tech savviness.
- Experience with content creation for LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Excellent written English skills.
- French fluency is an asset.
- Zoho-One experience is an asset.

- Loves social media and has an active account in Tiktok, LinkedIn and/or Instagram.
- Certificates and experience in social media management is highly appreciated.
- Current studies, degrees or postgraduate qualifications in any communication or business-related course are beneficial. Experience is highly valued.
- Connection with student executive background is appreciated.
