Abbey's Kitchen Inc. is a wellness media business based in Toronto. Spearheaded by Registered Dietitian, Abbey Sharp, we are all about finding innovative, creative, and fun ways to communicate nutrition knowledge through Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Podcast (Bite Back) and traditional media. Abbey's sister is a female owned supplement brand for women with a focus on gut health.
We are currently seeking a Digital Video Producer who will manage content that will live on social media pages and our sister product brand The successful candidate will be responsible for producing, filming, and editing video content that maintains a cohesive look and feel, as well as a consistent brand voice. Existing knowledge of social media platforms and trends are essential for this role.
The ideal candidate must have strong videography and editing skills with a minimum 3-5 years experience.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the content social media channels with the aim of growing brand discovery, driving engagement and nurturing a large community of engaged fans
- Produce, film and edit high-quality engaging long-form YouTube videos, short-form TikTok videos and Instagram Reels using LUMIX cameras, professional lights, microphones, and teleprompter
- Generate approximately 8-10 videos weekly (1 long form, 7 short form)
- Maintain a solid understanding of video editing technique (experience using Premier Pro) and social media trends.
- Some still photography required
- Some graphic design work required for thumbnails
- Production and content ideation as part of a larger team
- Travel to various locations for content capture, including in-person shoot days and special events if needed
- Identify and curate content to repost (photos, videos, etc.) that reflect the values and personality of the brand(s) to ensure a robust content pipeline.
- Identify content creators and influencers to partner with/leverage for future campaigns.
- In collaboration with Neue Theory team, create video concepts that align with key dates, strategy, product education, and marketing goals.
- Participate in bi-weekly team meetings to brainstorm and align content strategies and stay updated on upcoming campaigns
- Provide a bi-weekly analytics report on engagement, follower growth and overall social performance
- Provide a bi-weekly update with feedback on the upcoming content pipeline, as well as a review of the previous week's content
Qualifications
- Video Production and Video Editing skills
- Experience in Motion Graphics and Multimedia
- Video Post-Production skills
- Proficiency in Premier Pro (ideally) or similar software
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in digital content creation is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or related field
